derasa foot?

I just stepped in to the world of clams. I bought a derasa. Its pretty damn big. Id say 5 inches long and 4 inches tall. Just curious if they have a foot? I have 4 54 w t5 lights in a 70 gal 18 inches deep. Should i put it up a bit on the rock or leave in sandbed? Lights are 2 ati blue plus, 1 ati purple plus, 1 ati aquablue

keep derasas in the sand. they have feet, but they udu don't attach. yhry do move more than most clams, this is done through their foot

+1, moliken is the clam expert, but thought I would reaffirm it. Derasa's are some scootin doods!!
