I have a 90gl tank 48x18x24 standard and want to switch my current fixture out. I have a 2x250watt Halide fixture with 4x54watt t-5. outer orbit. Its a great unit but I want to change out and try to save some money on electric bills and bulbs.
So I am thinking about a t-5 fixture. But not sure what to get. I want to keep mainleySPS corals, but it will be mixed. I do not want LEDS right now as they are too expensive for me.
What T-5 unit should I go with ATI Powermodule 6x bulbs or 8x bulbs
Tek light 6 or 8 bulbs
Icecap 6 or 8 bulbs
Really bulb qty is my question. I would like to run 6 bulbs to not over due it, but at the same time place sps corals down the bottom.
